FC Tam has loved singing since childhood, but due to his introverted personality, he never participated in competitions or public performances. In 2023, he entered “Midlife, Sing & Shine 2” as an amateur contestant and amazed audiences with his remarkable talent. He advanced in the first round with an impressive five-light score and consistently achieved over 80 points in subsequent rounds. With four MVP wins—the most of any contestant that season—he demonstrated his exceptional vocal prowess. Ultimately, he reached the finals with the highest overall score, securing the runner-up position and officially launching his singing career. He also won the “Audience’s Favorite Voice award” after receiving the highest number of online votes, earning a devoted fan base.
Just two months after his debut, he held his first solo concert, “Tam Fai Chi Fight for You Concert”, becoming the first contestant of his season to do so. In September 2024, he released his debut single, “How Grateful I Am”, mesmerizing listeners with his soulful voice and heartfelt delivery.
